So in case you forgot, this is what we started with:

Complete with wood panelling and orange (gross) carpet.
Today, this is where we are: textured, primed and ready to PAINT! I thought I would never hear the words "time for paint" as this project has been a really large project with lots of other steps. This next weekend, I am told that we may even have a bathroom FULLY installed if all goes to plan. Wow, progress! I can't wait to see this done and be able to finally enjoy this.

That is the bar Curt and Darrell built, pretty cool. It has two drawers, a cabinet, and a large space for appliances. We will have bar stools there eventually.

This is at the end of two VERY long days. We didn't think we would have all primed tonight as there was a slight glitch in the plan. They were supposed to be able to spray the walls, but the sprayer wouldn't work. So, after a few hours of patiently waiting, they decided everyone was to help roll the basement. Now, spraying would have taken an hour or so, rolling took many.

See, rolling the staircase would've been way easier and much safer. I don't think ladders are supposed to be placed like this.
I guess that is why you have a great family as when we needed help to get this part of our project done, we had all Olson's ready to help. It's great to have such wonderful people to rely on. Thanks to Darrell, Matt, and Laurel, even Cally for letting us steal everyone.
