Donor's Choose

There is a great website for teachers called Donor's Choose. The cool thing about it is that teachers can ask for things that would benefit their students but that they cannot pay for on their own. I finally got on the website and have a project posted. My project is to get iPod Touches into my classroom to help my students learn to read. You may think that is not neccessary, but it really helps the kids hear themselves as they can record and find their mistakes and misunderstandings. The second graders already do it so it would be great for my kids that read at a second grade level to do that too. Here are a few of my kids with the borrowed ones from the second graders.
