Spring has Sprung!

Do you know what that means? SPRING BREAK! For break this year, I decided not to go to D.C. (which I have done for the past 3 years) but stayed home and hosted my mom, Steph, and Jason. We had a lot of fun going around the area, we visited Colorado Springs, the mountains, and the city itself.

Curt didn't have to work Sunday, so he came along! We went to Colorado Springs and visited the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.

After the zoo, we went to Garden of the Gods. This is a window you can hike to within the park. As you can see, all of us made it.

The next day we went to Brekenridge.

You can see all the ski runs up on the mountain behind us.

We also went downtown to Coors Field.

The trip was fun and we got lots of cool things done. It is always fun to show off Colorado to my family. The next time I see them all will be at a wedding. It will be nice to be home then. As spring break is just about over, I can start the countdown for summer vacation. I only have 7 weeks until break. Let the countdown begin!
