The best jobs...

So far, I have made it without really making references to my students or to my job. But, I decided today to post with the highlights from both my job and from Curt's job. Here is our list of what is great about being a teacher or an accountant.

For being a teacher, I love seeing the kids get to learn new things and just excited to come in. Right now, we are finishing up CSAP and they have a big party they are looking forward to. They know the end is near, which is also followed happily by spring break.

Also, with being a teacher is the complete chaos of dealing with 21 (usually) 10/11 year olds. They drive me crazy at times (which I often tell them) but they are so fun to b around. With hanging around kids also just brings about some great quotes. Here are some things they have said recently that have made me laugh:

-Me: " I could live in my Seuss house and I wouldn't share with anyone."
Kids: "What about Mr.Olson?"
Me: " I won't share with him, I don't share well."
Christian: "Mrs.Olson, you are too big to be in that house, you should rethink it."

-Christian: "How am I going to fix the roof? Oh wait, I will staple it, that's right, that is how a man fixes things."

-Me: "Girls, you are driving me CRAZY!"
Jonathan: "I didn't do anything. Guys, stop that, that is my job!"

-Jonathan: "Why does it say launch in poop up?" (cause it doesn't)

-Test questions: When can something that is smaller weigh more than something that is bigger?
Answer: When the kid is fat and the parent is skinny (followed with a great picture)

For being an accountant, the only thing I know right now that is great is April 15.

I will update about great things about our jobs on April 16 to see if things have changed for Curt.
