We always fly in and out of Spokane when we visit Washington. This time, we went to one of our favoirite places to eat- Cour D'Alene Resort.
The resort does a great job of decorating with Christmas lights. They deck out EVERYTHING. Since the resort is on a large lake, they make the docks full of lights. You can even do a boat cruise to meet Santa at his workshop. Next year we are doing that and that is when Cedric will meet Santa for the first time, what a cool way!
After you see the lights and the crisp outside, you head inside for the biggest, best deserts you will ever taste. They are huge (and so yummy!)

I highly recommend heading to the resort if you have a bit of time, it is a favorite anytime of the year.
