Five Years!

I cannot believe that it has been five years! We celebrated with all our friends and family in Walla Walla. It was the perfect day. Great weather, an outdoor ceremony, and a reception at my parent's home under the stars. We had a great time and could not have asked for a better wedding day.

I was thinking about the most fun part and it had to be the cake cutting. Curt had asked me if we would be nice or have fun with it. I told him to be nice as I had my hair done and a nice dress. He agreed. As we did the traditional cake cutting and eating, I shoved my piece in his face. I then tried to run, but have you ever ran in a dress that is long and heavy? Well, I fell over into one of my friends moms laps and Curt came and smashed more into my face. Needless to say we were happily covered in cake. It was a great moment!

This is a special year for us as we celebrated with adding a family member. Five years ago I became an Olson and now we added another one. I cannot believe how fast it has gone and what else we may do in five more years. Here is to another amazing anniversary with an amazing husband, I could not ask for more :)
