Project #3- Baby Room!

Finally! A baby room complete and ready for said baby :) I think he will enjoy this room a lot and it is special as so many people helped us to create it. We found the pirate fabric back in January, and when we found out it was a boy that was the first thing I purchased. So here is a look around his nursery:

 When you walk in, you see his crib with a crib skirt made with our pirate fabric by my mother-in-law. She also made the pillow. We have IKEA spice racks as book shelves (thank you pinterest for ideas!) and then a couple apple boxes we painted for a table for us. It is very bright like we wanted.

 A closer look at the corner with the addition of a hamper. My friends Rachel and Sara (along with their moms) went above and beyond and somehow found the hamper online. It matches our pirate fabric and colors PERFECT. Curt was shocked when he opened it and it was EXACTLY the same. So, it is prominently displayed for everyone to see.

From the chair, we have the dresser/changing table that we painted blue. The closet is open for all to see and has nice little labels and there is a boat and ARRRR written across the top. My friend Kathryn did that all and it is amazing. Above the changing table is a name holder, but it is covered right now with sticky notes that say Gus-Gus. 

 Then we have Curt's favorite part: an orange wall! My sister got us the picture in the middle because I asked her to. It fits perfect with the scrapbook page I made and really pops ont he wall. So fun!

So that is our little room for our little guy. We love it and are glad we could spend time making a special place for him (even though he won't notice). Thank you to everyone that helped to make the pirate room and keeps giving us pirate things that go PERFECT with this idea. We love it all! Now, again I shall write this little man can arrive any day now, today would be good!
