Wow, we have been busy lately! But, nothing of sorts to document or really tell about. Just the normal day to day. Since the holidays are upon us, I thought to mention what we are doing at church to celebrate. Before church service each week during Advent, our pastors have brought in supplies to paint for the season. See, they own this neat new type of business around here called Sipping and Painting. Even with no art talent, in a night they walk you through some awesome paintings. Sara and I did it last year when they visited. Well, this time Curt and Noah are joining me each week as a tackle the image of Jesus' birth. It is pretty cool. Here is what a little guidance and no talent produces:

Noah's painting, the mountains look pretty good in his :)

Curt's with a Broncos sunset (mind you at this point in time they have won 5 in a row becuase of Tebow power.....woo-hoo!)

And mine, furthest along but I keep messing up on the star...hopefully I can finish on Sunday

Us all together post-painting.
It has been pretty great to be able to partipate these few weeks doing a fun project. It really brings the joy of the season each week. What makes if more fun is that Curt and Noah agreed (with a little hesitation) and other friends come also (like our neighbors). It is fun to try something new and learn about a new art. When you come to town, I will totally introduce you to the painting places for some fun.
Looks like a ton of fun! I want to paint!
