We just returned from a week in Orlando with my family. It was a great week that was spent being incredibly busy and enjoying one another. A highlight that I first want to share is our adventure to Harry Potter World. All I can say is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! They certainly did it right!

Here is Hogsmeade as you enter, look at all the people! It was elbow to elbow almost the whole day. While this part of the park was FILLED with people, other parts had very few people. It is clear, even a year after it opened, that this is the main attraction to Universal Studios. We went straight back to the castle ride and got there at 8:05 and the line for the ride was already 30 minutes. After that, the rest of the day the ride was upwards of a two hour wait!

Drinking our glasses of Butterbeer. Very good, just what I had hoped for.

With the conductor of the Hogwarts Express train (even at Platform 9 3/4)

Curt and I at the castle. The castle was incredible. It is hard to believe that they created this world from books. All that the Harry Potter books have come to after only 15 years around, books, movies, a whole world. I can't wait to return when a few less people are there and I can wander around and enjoy what J.K Rowling created in a few simple books.
Now that I got my Harry Potter World viewing in, I need to rewatch all the movies for the one to come out next week! I am excited to see it come to life. Then, in just four short weeks, I get my next fifth grade friends and we will start the adventure of reading the first Harry Potter book again. I just can't wait to introduce them!
