Nanny Visit

In January, long ago, we had Nanny visit for a week. 

It was very fun.

We took her to the mountain house and she was worried that it was going to be cold.

It was, lots of snow and cold. 

These two kids love being in the mountains together- especially when snow is involved. 

Spending time with Nanny. Nanny was cold.  

My princess- those rosy cheeks and simple smile. She is a crowd pleaser and just the sweetest thing. 

After spending an hour in the cold, we went for hot cocoa. Cedric was not willing to come in the coffee shop and sat outside building a fort. A man walked by, helped him for a minute, then took a picture as he enjoyed watching Cedric. Cedric did not come in for more than a minute to warm up. 

On our journey back to Denver, we stopped to play at a park in Winter Park. They leave sleds out on the little sledding hill so the kids were all over that. 

Quinn went up and down, over and over, while Cedric decided the playground equipment was calling his name. 

It was fun to have Nanny visit in the winter. Maybe she will come again. Although, I think she prefers the warm weather we get in other seasons.
