Swimming

We wanted to spend much of our time in Walla Walla swimming, but the weather was not cooperating with us. Usually the first week of July is filled with 100 degree weather, instead we got 60 degree weather and rain. Boo.

We still squeezed a few days in the pool in. 

Cedric was hesitant about the water at first, but soon loved it and even went underwater. He now likes to dunk his head and hold his breath to show that he is "swimming" by himself. 

Quinn, on the other hand, hardly needed encouragement. She loved kicking water, splashing, and going underwater. She took notes from Hazel, who would disappear under the water all the time. Quinn and Hazel will surely have many years of fun in the pool at Nanny's house. 

My loves, I love their smiles and excitement! This was when daddy was off playing with his college friends.
