A broken bone made it to our house just a few weeks ago! And while we figured Cedric would manage the task, it happened to be little Quinn who broke her elbow.
The story isn't even exciting. Quinn was sitting on a bench next to me in the Chick-Fil-A play area. She got down, lost her balance, and fell to the floor just wrong. She cried all the way home. This picture above is me wondering if she broke something or not.
Well, the next day we had confirmation that her elbow was indeed broken. They splinted her up and send her home. She didn't seem to mind.
A week later we had pictures taken again and it looked good. Lots of growth, but she still needed a cast.
She picked purple and was showing it off.
Baths were tricky, but we managed in the sink a few times. She loves the water, so at least the cast was before summer water time. Also, the cast didn't slow her down. She used it as a drumstick often.
Her last day with a cast- only two weeks.
Cutting it off was not her favorite.
Overall, a quick experience, but I would prefer not to do it again.
