This year we had a great time of having not one, but TWO snow days for a blizzard.
We tried to shovel mid-day, but that was not worth it. The snow was falling so fast that the driveway was covered as soon as we finished our first shovel over.
Quinn loved holding the shovel, but not too fond of actually being a worker.
My car was not going out on the road at all on the first day. The road was like off roading just to get out of our cul-de-sac. As soon as the storm cleared up in the afternoon, it was warm and there was over 20 inches of snow.
The next day, we stopped at grandma's house to get some fresh air. My little friends played with icicles and enjoyed bringing the snow inside.
It seemed odd to have the day off when it was so sunny that we didn't wear coats to sled. That is the catch 22 of weather in Colorado. One day is 70 degrees and then the next day is 25 and snowing all day. I kinda love it :)
