The Lake House

A few weeks ago, we spent a week with my family on a lake near Bellingham, Washington.

It was perfect and quite beautiful. 

The house we rented was right on the water. We spent the week exploring, swimming, and going in the boats. 

One night we left all three kids with Grandma and Grandpa. We went to dinner, got ice cream, and Steph and I went to get our toes painted. It was a nice night out.

Steph knew of a great park near the train tracks. Cedric loved standing on the bridge above the trains as they came right under. He just loved it! 

Morning canoe rides for Cedric. He loved the water and the boat more than we can really tell. He just loved being outside here.

And Miss Hazel. She knows the sign for more and usually uses it for more food. Curt wanted her to like him so he taught her to do "muscles" to sign "Curt". He just wants to be loved by her.

We loved the lake house and spending time with everyone there for a week was great!
