It only seems fitting to do these two posts back to back right?
This girl is so big now!
Her brother loves on her a bit more each month. He sometimes will share toys and snuggle. Every morning he goes looking for Quinn to say hi. He pats her head and talks nice to her. Often he wants her toy, but so far she is nice and will trade with him as long as he asks. Good thing she is nice :)
We have had quite a cool summer in Denver. Lots of rain and cloudy days which is not fun. We try and get out as much as we can and Quinn has loved our adventures. She likes the fountains and splash pads and doesn't mind getting wet.
Sleep was AWEFUL in May. Now, she is getting much closer to sleeping through the night. We have fully moved her to sleeping in her crib/pack and play all the time. We need to lower the crib so that the little girl cannot sit up and climb out of her bed.
And we finally can report that we have a crawler! She finally decided to move. She was quite efficient at scooting while sitting, but now she is getting good at crawling. She loves making her way behind you and picking up small items on the floor.
Her favorite play area at home now is the kitchen floor with as many tupperware as I will give her. She chases them and just loves to make noise.
Oh, and she is just a blonde hair, blue eyed girl. Did anyone question that that would happen?
We have spent plenty of time traveling and enjoying summer. We went to the cabin for a great weekend and she just loved it. She crawled and enjoyed the different toys. She also enjoyed Lake Dillon in the mountains.
She also puts up with some crazy cousins when we are all together.
Our next trip was to Seattle. We went to the aquarium which she loved. She loved the fish, water, and all that she could see. The jellyfish were just fascinating to her.
And all the traveling wears on an 11 month old. She fell asleep at my aunts house. I love that she can still be moved around when sleeping unlike her brother.
The next post is the one year one- where did the year go???
