Just a few weeks ago, the world lost an amazing woman, my Great Aunt Elaine.
When my sister and I were in middle school, my Aunt Elaine started joining us f or holidays. She was my grandpa's youngest sister, she had no children of her own and therefore became like a grandmother to us as we grew up.
Every time we visited Walla Walla, we made sure to bring the kids over to see her. She loved holding and seeing them run around. The joy she had in seeing her Great-Great Nieces and Nephew was so amazing. She was delighted in them in the same way I believe my grandma and grandpa Klundt would've been had they were here still.
Aunt Elaine, you will be missed. We are so happy that we got to share life with you for so long and that you could be there to meet our children.
Sorry for your loss Lyette! :(
