Thanksgiving Weekend

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year. We are thankful for so many things and so lucky in our life. We are thankful for our family, especially our children. We cannot believe how blessed we are to have the addition of Quinn this year.
This picture was taken on Thanksgiving and really captures all our joy in life.
Early on Black Friday, we headed up to the cabin with everyone- 6 adults, 4 kids, and 3 dogs makes for a crazy place that is just the most fun to be at. We are so thankful for the cabin and our little getaway place we have.
The mountains were perfection.
The snow was deep, yet it was mid forties. We even used the fire pit to cook hot dogs out back.
Kody loved playing with Cedric on the hill and helping him walk up and down.
I don't think the two of them came inside all day on Friday.
Cedric got his first sledding experience.
Can I just say that love is an understatement for how he feels about sledding and snow.
I am so thankful for the amazing experiences we can give Cedric (and Quinn soon) that will make up his childhood. Being able to sled all day was amazing.
Grandma and Grandpa with all four little loves.
Grandma and Miss Quinn- She came outside for a while too.
Grandpa and his boys.
We also spent a morning at the Rec Center pool. The kids love it and the water is over 90 degrees. I cannot argue with that or water snuggles with this baby.

It was a great Thanksgiving, and as always, a great day to slow down and be thankful for things we normally just do. I love Thanksgiving and all that it means.
