The First Snow

The first snow of the year is something special. I love the snow and it is so fun to share it with Cedric now that he understands it (other than he touches it and says "hot", we are working on that).

When I asked Cedric if he wanted to go outside he was so excited. I don't think he was excited about all the layers he had to dress in.

While he was outside, Quinn and I snuggled by the fire and watched. 

Knee deep and loving it!

When he was done, we got some hot cocoa, a blanket, and snuggled by the fireplace with his favorite movie- Cars. I loved this afternoon with the snow falling and the kids snuggled under blankets.  

He also wanted to play cars. I loved watching him line up the cars and drive them around the chair. This was about 5 minutes of quiet in our house, a new record. 

Quinn got some love from her cousins. Look at how warm she was in her head to toe fleece. 

I am so glad Cedric is loving the snow like I do!
