Quinn's Dedication

Yesterday, we dedicated Miss Quinn.

We had friends and family join us in church as we dedicated her to the lord. We read her a letter and were reminded what a blessing little ones are. 

Our pastor, Susie, getting the biggest smiles from her as she blessed her. 

(This was moments after an epic spit up in front of everyone and on everything.)

She is such a beautiful girl! 

Kathryn and Jen joined us- such dear friends from work that are best friends to our kids!

Can I just say I love them? I love they are aunts and uncles to our kids, I love that they do anything for them, and I love that we have been out of college for seven years and yet we see them all WEEKLY! Just shows the amazing people they are.

Here is our letter to Quinn:

Quinn Marie,

You are the perfect addition to our family and we cannot imagine life without you.  Your smiles and giggles light up our world.  We often look to the future of your life and we do not know the specifics of what will happen, but we know that you will be a kind, loving, and beautiful girl. We know God has big plans for you.  His plans are bigger than anything we could ever imagine. 

In a poem by Shell Silverstein, it says “Listen to the shouldn’ts, the impossible ,the won’ts.  Listen to the never haves, then listen close to me…Anything can happen child, anything can be.”

 Remember Quinn, ANYTHING is possible.

We also want you to know these things which will never change:  you will always be loved, you will always be cared for, you will always have support and you will always be a child of God.
