You know those days when summer is turning into fall and it is cool and drizzly outside. When you wake up, you don't want to go to work, but enjoy that you can relax at home.
That is what my last two days were like. The first cool days, only in the 50's and lots of rain.
I have the heat on for the first time in months, the house is cool enough to start the fireplace and light a fall candle.
I redecorated the mantle and Cedric used his art skills to create an acorn art piece for me. His palm is the base and his fingerpints are the top. I love it.
The dog is furry and loving laying on the sofa again.
Dinner is in the crockpot- which is probably the best thing ever, the house smells amazing.
We played with planes while being in sweats and never getting dressed.
We also took our cars and planes to continue playing while we ate lunch.
Then the big one went down for a nap and the little one is curled up on the couch next to me and the fireplace going. If i were working, this would not be possible. I love maternity leave and being home with the kids on this first cool day of the season.
