7 Years

Where has the time gone? We have been married for 7 years?

It was a fun day, one we will always remember. We did a lot of things ourselves and kept the overall festivities low key. The wedding was on Whitman College's campus in their outdoor amphitheater. We then moved to my parents house for the reception outdoors under the stars. It was perfect. When I look at other 22 year olds getting married, I think they look young, but when it is us, it seems normal.

We knew it was right to get married right after college. We were perfect for each other. We basically met the first day of college and started dating soon after. With the beginning of a new fall semester upon us, we realize we have been together for 11 years now. 

We were lucky to meet each other so young, just 18.

In the 7 years of marriage, we have done so much. We have traveled all over the U.S. We have hiked 2 14ers together, we have a cute furry friend, we have Cedric who is just the most amazing kid ever, and a little girl to come.

We were certain we would have our little girl to celebrate our anniversary with this year, but she is taking her time compared to Cedric. Who knows when she will join us. For now, we will just wait for her when she is ready. 

Happy anniversary Curt! I love you and know we have MANY more years ahead of us filled with fun, memories, and laughter. I am so lucky to have found you and share a family with.
