Big Boy Bed!

We have been working hard lately to complete some projects around the house before the little girl arrives. Some things just have been waiting for that block of time to get them done. We have moved furniture out of her room, painted her room, the laundry room, and the front hallway. I have seemed to paint endless amounts of trim. All is helping to be ready for this girl to come.

The other big thing we had to do is get Cedric into a twin bed. He sleeps very well so we are a little weary of moving him, but decided to at least get him ready to give up the crib soon.

Yesterday we put the twin in his room. He loved it. There is still plenty for us to do to get his room changed out, but for now he can play on the bed and get used to it. 

He climbed right up and pulled up all of his blankets. He was ready to sleep there. We gave him his bottle and then left him. Not even 20 minutes later the kid was asleep in his bed. Above, he is in the pile of blankets, which was unbelievable because it so hot in his room. 

We left him there just to see what would happen. Around 11 he fell out of the bed and onto a pillow below. We moved him to his crib then and didn't hear him again. Needless to say we will work on it and have a railing that we will use, but a good start nonetheless.
