Where did the summer go?
Well, I have not clue but I am already back at work with this great new class:
They will be a fun group of kids- within them I have 7 siblings of past kiddos (so fun to hear about them) and 3 that had siblings I knew in the grade but didn't teach. It will sure be an adventure where the year takes us.
The first day of school is always draining- we did routines and rules all day.
But at the end of it, three former students came back to say hi- Enrique who is in 7th grade popped in and just visited. It was so nice to see his cheerful smile. Then the sisters- Lizeth (8th grade) and Ruby (6th grade) came in and organized my room for me. I love past kids coming and making my job so worthwhile.
