Progress in Bits and Pieces

As you should know by now, Curt is the project master. He loves to work on things in the house and continue to make them better. I mentioned before our laundry room, which originally looked like this:

 

Now, we have waited on this room and it is finally taking shape. I mentioned before that we had painted it and got a rug, that made a HUGE difference. If you can see the tile in the picture before, it is like 1950's style yucky yellowed pattern. We thought it would take forever to get that piece done, but once we started to tackle that project it was done in three weekends (and not much time at each go either). Here is the new floor:

Doesn't that look WAY better? Curt painted it with patio paint and then we closed off under the sink. Now it doesn't feel gross to go into. Next job in this room is to redo the shelves (they are really bad) and to add a ceiling (since there is not one right now). In time, I will have a completely redone laundry room, lucky me!
