This is what I look like at 32 weeks pregnant with little Gustave Staush Olson
(that name is a joke, don't worry)
To say the least, it has been a really smooth journey for us. I cannot believe how fast it has gone so far. I mean, it was just Thanksgiving and we knew and then it was Christmas and we told everyone and now it is the end of May! Crazy! He has been a good resident, no problems and he hasn't made me sick which I am so thankful for. He moves a lot for me during the day, but there are only a few kicks that really are starting to show how strong he is. Here are my quirks for pregnancy:
1. I always like potatoes and french fries, I like them more now. That is my thing.
2. The first and second trimester I could do without desserts, but now I love the sweets again.
3. My kids at school like to ask questions and compare me with pregnant people in their lives. They have many misconceptions that are HILARIOUS!
4. Curt likes it when he kicks, he usually laughs and cannot believe I deal with it all day
5. I can still wear my pants. I am totally proud of that right now, especially my American Eagle ones which I thought would be the first to go (its like a teen store!)
6. We never talked about his name.We have known his name for over a year, we said it once in a hypothetical situation and it was perfect. It hasn't changed in almost a year and a half. It will be perfect (and not Gustave)

7. We love him very much. We are so excited for him to come here. Curt thinks he will be just like him as he is winning the genetic battle, so prepare world for another blonde haired, blue eyed Olson.
8. I cannot wait for my family to come visit in July to meet him and also for my grandparents to trek out here in September to meet him, it will be special to see him with them all.
So, there is my list. And the list goes on to add that the dog will probably not be the center of attention when he comes. Therefore, again, she is taking the spotlight in the picture of Curt and I with the baby bump.
What a fun list! I can't wait to hear what the name is. and great job running/walking 3miles!
