Each year, Brekenridge does an ice sculpture contest. The contestants come from all over the world and spend a week carving a HUGE block of ice into a cool creation. They aren't your average ice sculptures, they are taller than my house. Here were some of our favorites:
This was a cool dragon, if you can look close you can see the details
This was my favorite, it was an ice fisherman and he had just caught a fish. The seal is poking his head up to steal the fish back. So creative!
All of us with the bear, he even had fur!
And the pup, she may have liked the snow enough to become a white puppy.
