We had a great anniversary! We celebrated our fourth year together, boy has the time flown. We had a wonderful night in downtown Denver. Curt wanted to be the sole planner and so he surprised me with some of the things he really wanted to do. First we had dinner at The Denver Chophouse, which has such great food. We both ate way too much but it was fun to sit and enjoy a nice dinner just the two of us. After dinner, we walked around downtown. We always talk about going down there for an evening, but we never actually do it. We wandered for awhile, saw some really interesting people and then talked about dessert.
Curt had heard about a restaurant in a hotel that had cool downtown views so we headed there to go to the Peak Lounge for a treat. When we get there, Curt selected a different floor then the restaurant and we went up to a room to spend the night in downtown. We then did have dessert and wandered a bit more. It was nice to get away and have a surprise even though it was ten minutes from out house. What a great way to celebrate!
