Seattle!

Have you ever gone a trip that instead of one trip with lots to do it feels like 3 totally different trips? Well, that was us this past week! We have always said we would visit Seattle and not travel to Walla Walla, we have a lot of friends there and more of my family has moved there. So it seems like a good idea. We finally did it, it was wonderful to see so many people and do so much!

Trip 1 College friends: We hung out with some wonderful friends from college, Paul and Andrea and James and Ashley. It was so fun! We saw them two weeks ago in Santa Cruz, California so it now just seems that we are to spend every few weeks together hanging out. While with them, we went to some amazing restaurants and a few parts. The most noteworthy was Top Pot Doughnuts, amazing. You can see the bliss on our faces! It was so good to spend time with them again.

Trip 2 an Olson wedding: This was our trips purpose, Curt's cousin got married on Bainbridge Island. If you are not from the Pacific Northwest, it is an island you pretty much have to get to by ferry from downtown Seattle. This is Curt and I as we took off for the island where his family awaited our arrival for lunch.
That night was Christina and Jeff's wedding. It was fun and it was a nice change to spend a weekend with Curts family is Washington as opposed to our normal routine here in Colorado. Matt, Cally and the kids went as well as Curt's parents, Darrell and Laurel. It was fun and filled with running around as Kody never stays still for long.

Us at the wedding :)

All the Olson's before the ceremony, a great shot!

Trip 3 the Klundt's: Now what would be a Washington trip without my family? We jumped around a lot and surprisingly saw my family daily. We got in Thursday, spent Friday with them in Olympia (my grandparents even came up!). Saturday night was at Steph's new house (such a neat home!) and again we returned up north on Monday and stayed until Tuesday. Pretty good effort. We had fun with them and it is always good to get in some time there as it is less than what we would like living so far away. All in all, a fabulous trip!
Can't resist, we snuck to Pike's Place on our way back to Steph's on Monday. Love that place!
