Fall Festivals

This past week has been more htan exciting around here. My sister came to the math conference in Denver this last week and we enjoyed having her here and visiting. We also had Sara and Tim visit from Philly. Tim mentioned it to Sara as a birthday present and so they came here! It was so great to have all these people around that I can be myself around and enjoy. It is nice to be around the comforts of my childhood sometimes as I know my relationship with these people will not change. It only gets better with time.

So, while they were here we experienced everything from Vail and Breck to a corn maze and fall festival. We even ventured into a laser quest game with a bunch of ten year olds (may I say that Curt got first of 32 people and he was embarrassed...Tim got 24th). It was an amazing time and I cannot wait for more times like that with Sara and Tim, and possibly in Philly.

The girls, we kinda dominated on the maze. It was a unique one. You had to find your way through the maze and find checkpoints. There were 6 checkpoints within three mazes. Also, they had an FBI game where you had to find out which animal killed the farmer...kinda like a giant Clue game. It was very neat!
Anyways, our adventures were fabulous and it was hard to have everyone leave. Someday we will finally do a trip together that we talk about doing.
