Birthday Week

Officially, I am now 26. I have passed the quarter century mark. No one elses birthday is close to mine except for Saras, so I am waiting two weeks for her to join me. Come on October 10! I didn't do anything too special for my day.

Curt woke me up with a gift and low and behold it was a bread maker. Now I can make him cinnamon rolls anytime he wants me to. He is just helping the process of me being even more domestic. I went to school and I brought my kids cupcakes as a little treat. They said I make the BEST cupcakes. I dont think many of them get homemade ones. So that was fun and even though I told them not to, they of course sang.

Then, that evening I went to dinner with great friends here. New and old friends got together to help celebrate. That was fun. It's fun to see who gets to celebrate with me now and that I didnt even know any of them seven years ago. I also got a traditional train cake. My in-laws thought they would try it out this year so they brought it over as a surprise. Not bad if you ask me.
