Rachel moves to Texas

This past week, Curt and I were so lucky to have Rachel, Tyler, and Austin stop into Colorado on their way to Texas. We spend just a couple days with them and getting to meet their little guy! Austin is the cutest little red head. Yep, looks like Rachel passed on that wonderful red hair. :)

We met them on Tuesday night up in Summit County at the cabin. They had driven all day so we had a nice dinner and then went on a long walk to the lake. On Wednesday, we did the short drive into Denver and spent the day at the zoo. Of course, in the evening we took them to our favorite ice cream shop...Bonnie Brae! After last summer in Philly taking pictures at the ice cream shop there I now believe we have a tradition of eating at ice cream places and taking pictures. I guess, no matter what, that we have to meet up each year and eat ice cream.

It was great to visit with them and greet them part way on their new adventure. Good luck Hairs as you move and get settled!
